The Accountants Association in Poland (AAP) is the oldest and the largest Polish organisation comprising of the professionals in accounting and finance. The Association continues professional traditions of accountancy organisations operating on the Polish territory since 1907. AAP makes continuous efforts to assure that its members achieve the highest level of professional competencies and follow ethical rules and standards.

 
The Association endorsed to the following goals:
  • defending the rights, dignity and interests of its members
  • initiating and conducting activities aimed at improvement of the knowledge and qualifications of its members
  • ensuring utmost professional and ethical standards for its members as well as creating adequate conditions for upgrading this standards
  • co-operation with state authoritues, local self-government bodies, as well as commercial and social organisations in order to improve accounting, finance, taxes, audit of financial statements and internal audit
  • co-operation with international organisations and institutions for the sake of formulating, organising and performing profession according to the European and global solutions and standards.

Based on its many years’ international experience and grounded position in Poland, AAP aims at disseminating professional knowledge and assisting in improving professional qualifications of its members as to ensure that AAP members and other persons working in the field of accountancy and related professions are able to keep up with the new requirements.
